Newdigate Colliery, Coventry, Warwickshire

Newdigate Colliery is a historic coal mining site located in Coventry, Warwickshire. It is a Grade II listed building, and is now a museum which showcases the history of the local mining industry. It is the site of the first coal mine in the area, and visitors can take a tour of the mine, learn about the history of coal-mining in the area, and explore the remains of the old colliery. The site is surrounded by lush green countryside, making it an ideal base for exploring the Warwickshire area. There are a number of nearby villages and towns, such as Bedworth and Nuneaton, which offer great places to live.
