We relocated to Winnersh with our jobs and initially the plan was to stay for 3 years but we love it here so much that it has turned into nearly 20 years! We searched for several months for the right location and landed very lucky when the Chackfield Drive property came on the market. It is in a fabulous quiet cul de sac but the primary reason that has kept us here for so long is the wonderful community we live in with fantastic neighbours who are now lifelong friends.

The house was exactly what we were looking for and we knew it was the one for us as soon as we drove into the cul de sac. We love the uniqueness of the design of Westbuild homes as they have charming features such as an inglenook fireplace, and feature windows and are traditionally constructed. Over the years we have upgraded many of the features such as the kitchen, ensuite and family bathroom and also installed a large patio to the rear which has been a great place for spending time with friends and family.

It is in a great location (Walters Arms pub and restaurant at the end of a lovely woodland walk and also very close to Wokingham Cricket and Tennis club and Bearwood golf course. What more could we ask for!

There is also excellent access to the major motorways, rail links to South of England and beyond and of course Heathrow airport.

It is with real mixed emotions that we are saying goodbye to what has been our best ever home as we are now heading back to Scotland for family reasons.
