We have loved living in this house, having been here for nearly 25 years! It has been a great place to bring up our children, the close is very safe for them to play in and the field at the side is good for playing football or holding street parties. Everyone is very friendly and recently there have been street parties for the VE Day and Platinum Jubilee celebrations.

The house has been great for holding our family get togethers as well as day to day living. We have managed to get 11 people into the dining room for Christmas Dinner! The garden is excellent for BBQs and relaxing. We have grown vegetables and fruit in the raised beds and flowers for the borders, a good way to involve the children in gardening.

When we moved here there were many children the same age as ours, now new families are moving in to the close so it is perfect for those of you with or looking to have children. It is nice to see the local children walking to Evendon’s Primary School, Ofsted Outstanding, which is a short walk around the corner. Our children are now adults and it is our time to lead a different life.

With Manor Road only being circa 1.5 miles away from town, it allows you to wander in, or if you don't fancy walking it is only a short drive to enjoy all that Wokingham offers.

Wokingham has been updated with its regeneration over the past few years and offers a varied range of amenities. Everything is available on your doorstep, from coffee shops to local boutique shops and supermarkets. You have everything you need within a short walk. Wokingham train station provides direct access to Reading and London too.
