Martyn Crescent in Shinfield Meadow is a gorgeous place to live. Equipped for both peace and quiet and also a haven where the children can play with a plethora of outdoor nature and local parks.

Convenient to bus routes or a walk into the countryside, there isn’t much you can’t find here. Tucked away from the busy street, we don't hear the motorway here, but you will hear the children playing as we have a lovely community where we can be seen having a bike ride with the neighbours!

Our house is efficient to heat and keep warm, and the sun sets right over the back garden. The houses are well built so we barely hear any noise between the walls. We originally bought this house to be closer to the kids while they studied, but seeing as my wife’s job wanted her to relocate and the kids educational plans had changed, it makes sense to be the next step in our journey to sell this gorgeous home.

I will miss the warmth of the winter sun as we barbecue with a couple of friends in the backyard enjoying the peace and quiet of Shinfield Meadow. We hope another family will enjoy living here as much as we have during our short stay.

When we first walked into this property, we both wanted to live there it's that great! The flow and design are superb and the sellers opted for the highest of finishes and upgraded every option! Shinfield Meadows itself is a lovely location, very central to all your needs and wants. Literally, just a few minutes walk you will find the popular Langley Mead nature reserve, which is great for walks and you also have various play parks close by. Within a short walk or drive you have plenty of amenities including Dobbies Garden Centre which now has a Sainsbury's Local, along with a great butchers and within Shinfield Village you have Co-Op a few popular pubs, a post office and soon to have a very popular cafè which we can't wait for.

There is a main bus route running through the estate itself taking you into Reading town and you are just a few minutes from Mereoak Park and Ride or junction 11 of the M4.
