Whether you are looking for that unique holiday home or a permanent marine residence with amazing and uninterrupted sea views, this superbly presented and stunning Victorian property could be the answer. It is located on the seafront at the corner of Western Esplanade and Seapoint Road overlooking Louisa Bay and only about a minute's walk from Viking Bay and Broadstairs promenade. Although the property has been completely renovated from top to bottom to the highest standard it still incorporates attractive period features. Walking into the impressive entrance hall with its Pugin style floor tiles, a wall of bespoke storage cupboards, high ceilings and the original staircase, you are immediately enveloped in the feeling of elegance from a bygone era. Walking up the stairs to the light and bright first floor half landing with its ornate coving you can delight in the mix of period and modern and this is beautifully illustrated in the charming kitchen/breakfast room. Here you will find a traditional Aga inset into the original fireplace and a lovely bay window with sash windows where you can put your table and chairs and enjoy the view. However the rest of the bespoke kitchen is the ultimate in contemporary design with recently installed Karndean flooring and hand built units with double edged marble worktops housing a variety of Bosch appliances. These include a combi microwave, coffee machine, wine cooler, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine while the tumble dryer is located in the understairs cupboard. There are steps up to the superb lounge with its large bay window and renovated stained glass insets and bespoke fitted bench seat, panelled walls, traditional cast iron radiator and impressive fireplace with a coal flame effect gas fire. This has a door to the first floor landing with stunning mirrored cupboards and herringbone parquet flooring. This leads to an attractive third bedroom with a raised bed area and an en-suite double shower, ideal for guests.

What the Owner says:

We bought this property as a holiday home about 10 years ago and spent a year completely renovating it before we actually moved in. However once we were ensconced here it seemed that we were spending more time in Broadstairs than in our permanent home as we loved the position and the friendliness of the local people. So we decided to move here permanently and have never regretted it. However we feel it is now time for us to start a new chapter in our lives and hope new owners will love this place as much as we have.
It is so easy and quick to walk along the clifftops to the town centre with its lovely restaurants, individual shops and bars or the beach at Louisa Bay and Viking Bay in one direction and Dumpton Gap and George VI park on the other. Broadstairs is a delightful town with annual events such as Folk Week, the Dickens Festival and the Food Fair. It also includes the excellent North Foreland Golf club and is not far from the Westwood Cross shopping centre, health clubs and a cinema and casino complex. There are also some very good state and private schools close by as well as a variety of sports clubs including cricket, tennis, bowls and rugby. While the high speed train can get you to London in well under an hour and a half
