LOCAL INFORMATION
Tilehurst is a popular village on the western side of Reading and covers a large area running from the Oxford Road in the North to the Bath Road (A4) to the south. Very popular with families, Tilehurst has a large range of schools and several local shopping parades and large Waitrose Supermarket as well as superb communication being just a few minutes drive from J12 of the M4 and with Tilehurst station being just one stop from Reading with its 30 minute trip to London Paddington. There are many parks and many local societies and the area inspires great loyalty with many people moving within the area once they live here. Reading town centre is only a mile or two away. Tilehurst offers the full local infrastructure to support family life, and combines this with excellent communications and transport links.

The light first floor landing grants access to the fitted four-piece family bathroom with rainfall shower and roll top bath along with three bedrooms, the principle with built in wardrobes and plantation shutters.
OUTSIDE SPACE
To the front is a low-level planting bed along with driveway parking for a couple of cars, and hedge borders. Side access leads to the lawned rear garden with patio, growing arches, and mature borders.
Homeowners Comment
This has been our family home for nearly 10 years and we have really enjoyed working on the garden and extending the property to improve the kitchen space and create a utility room and downstairs lavatory. It is a very light and airy house, which has a homely feel, and we have extended the parking space at the front of the house so that at least two cars can park comfortably. Our garden has been a joy to develop and we have loved hosting extended family outside and listening to the water in the pond, and watching new generations of fish growing. It is time for us to move on to get more space for our family but we hope that whoever buys our home will love it as much as we have.
