Gunnislake is a large village in east Cornwall in the civil parish of Calstock. The village is situated within the Tamar Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to the Devon border. Historically, Gunnislake was a rich mining town and now has a thriving community with a school, shops, including a post office, health centre, pubs, churches, village hall, garages, sports fields and a wide range of local organisations.

The properties are located just over 5 miles from the centre of the popular stannary town of Tavistock, offering a good range of shops and supermarkets, as well as the ancient Pannier Market, which dates from the year 1105.

The A390 main road passes through the heart of the village from nearby Callington over the border into Tavistock in Devon. Gunnislake is also well connected via the Tamar Valley Line linking the villages of the Tamar valley with the city of Plymouth. Gunnislake railway station is the northern terminus of the Tamar Valley Line.
