Comments from the Seller:
There are so many positives living in this house that I've been here for nearly 19 years! I extended in 2015 & 2016 to provide the space we now have. It is warm, light and sunny. My favourite parts of the house include the cosy underfloor central heating, and the west-facing garden which is a perfect sun trap with the bifold doors open it really feels like the house and garden are one space. I also love the enormous basement storage which houses our utility area and all the things we would need to rent a garage for such as DIY and garden stuff as well as our bikes and kayaks. The loft room has views over the neighbourhood to central London and we can watch the sunset from here.
The house is very economical to run. It is Council Tax band C which is ?142pcm. As the house is so well insulated the gas and electric bills are low at ?135pcm.
Landells Road has a great community, with an active street WhatsApp group where we all support each other with lending things, recommending work people, sharing details about local services etc and we have great street parties in the summer months. Its close to all the amenities of Lordship Lane and Peckham and the parks.
We have good friends in our neighbours who we will be staying in touch with. I will be very sad to leave but we have a dream to move to the countryside and start a new adventure.
