OneDome aims to grow to £5Bn of mortgages arranged per year by 2024 via acquisitions of mortgage brokerage firms.

London, 18 July 2023 — OneDome, the end-to-end property transaction company, has received an overwhelmingly positive response to its HomeBuyer Service, with triple-digit year-on-year revenue growth despite a weaker property market.

The OneDome Group’s strategic plan is to grow to £5Bn in annual mortgages arranged by the end of 2024. To achieve that, the OneDome Group is looking to acquire mortgage brokerage businesses. This strategic move builds on the acquisition of CMME Mortgages and CW Management Limited from Livingbridge private equity firm at the start of this year.

OneDome aims to consolidate the market by acquiring between 3-5 businesses per year, targeting businesses in London, Southeast, Southwest, and East of England specifically.

The aim is to centralise the operations around its cutting-edge technology platform, which doubles broker productivity while increasing the average revenue per transaction via cross-selling auxiliary services.

The OneDome Group also has access to over 7,500 estate agencies listings on its property listing websites onedome.com and nethouseprices.com. These agents are being converted into introducers for OneDome’s mortgage brokers.

“We are looking to grow the OneDome family with excellent businesses who would join us on our mission of making homebuying and mortgages simpler and stress free,” said Founder & CEO, Babek Ismayil. “Our customers’ satisfaction is at the core of everything we do, and we are looking for like-minded people in the industry to join us.”

Ismayil continues: “We want to find the right brokerage partners, and we offer a fair price for the businesses we buy. This new phase of the acquisition of mortgage brokers marks a significant step in OneDome’s journey.”

About OneDome

OneDome’s vision is to make home buying as simple as buying an item online. That’s why OneDome took the Rightmove experience beyond just property search and into offering a user experience similar to e-commerce.

OneDome has developed a revolutionary e-HomeBuying platform, a digital platform for property transactions that enables home buyers and sellers to conduct end-to-end property transactions online. From searching for properties to engaging with estate agents, conveyancers, and mortgage brokers, everything is done on one centralized consumer-centric platform. The platform connects all parties involved in the transaction, maximizing transparency and efficiency, while offering property professionals an opportunity to win more business and have greater control over their transactions.

In 2022, OneDome launched the HomeBuyer Service (HBS), specifically for property buyers. This service productizes the entire property purchase by bundling together all the services needed to buy a property into one package at a fixed price of £999, significantly cheaper than purchasing these services separately.

OneDome Group was founded by Babek Ismayil, a former Senior Vice President of Credit Trading at J.P. Morgan. The Chairman of OneDome is Sir Nigel Knowles, former CEO and Chairman of DLA Piper and the current CEO of DWF Law Plc.

In 2019, OneDome acquired Nethouseprices.com, one of the oldest property search websites in the UK. In 2022, OneDome acquired Contractor Wealth Management Limited, a wealth management business with £130M of funds under management. In 2023, OneDome acquired CMME Mortgage and Protection Limited, one of the largest independent mortgage brokers in the UK from the Livingbridge private equity firm.
