College Park

College Park is set in the pretty village of Thurston where you can benefit from the best of both worlds, as you can enjoy the peaceful country walks from the village yet be close to the energetic town of Bury St Edmunds. Thurston is a few miles to the east of Bury St Edmunds, with easy access to both the A14 which links Cambridge with Ipswich, and the A143 which heads to Diss and Great Yarmouth. Bury St Edmunds is where these two main routes meet, and it's always been an important focal point for the area. The town successfully balances history with modern day facilities and the villages around it have become popular places to live. The countryside here is lovely too, with ancient villages such as Lavenham and Long Melford to visit on days out.
