The apartment is part of Hazelwood Hall, a (redeveloped) Victorianmansion nestled within 18 acres of woodland bordering the coast, which offersfabulous panoramic vistas across Morecambe Bay and around to the Lakelandfells.

(Originally a wealthy industrialist’s residence, the hallhas been a convent, hospital and nursing home before falling into disrepair. Theestate was eventually acquired and sympathetically redeveloped in 2007 into 21 prestigiousapartments and the gardens restored to their former glory.)

Hazelwood Hideaway is a 2 bed/2 bath apartment on the 1stfloor. There is an open plan kitchen/lounge/dining area with patio doors thatopen out onto a large 50m2 patio with elevated views into thewoodland canopy.

The patio has a table and chairs for al fresco dining, aswell as two recliners for your relaxation.

The kitchen has marble worktops and is fully equipped with afridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, oven, hob and microwave. Inaddition, it has all the essential cookware, crockery and utensils a kitchenneeds should you wish to cook and dine in.

The lounge area has a contemporary décor and is furnishedwith quality hardwood furniture and soft furnishings for your comfort. Theassorted lamps & lighting offers a cosy ambience in the evening.  There is a dining table to seat 4 and a comfortable3–4-seater leather settee and matching armchair. There is free wi-fi and a 44”Smart TV, plus a selection of boardgames for your entertainment.

Both bedrooms have king-size beds made up with hotel quality100% cotton percale bedding. They have bedside drawers, lamps, mirror and afitted wardrobe with hangers. There is space for a travel cot if you need tobring one. The sash windows open over the patio area and are fitted with woodenblinds. The master bedroom is ensuite.

The luxurious bathrooms both feature a mirrored wall, heatedtowel rail, toilet, sink & shower cubicles. The ensuite has a separate bathalso. Hand soap, bodywash/shampoo is provided, as well a towel bail for each guest.

There is a storeroom with a vacuum cleaner, clothes maiden,laundry basket, iron & ironing board and hairdryer, as well as variousother cleaning apparatus. There is also a cool box/picnic set, rug, campingchairs and walking poles that you are welcome to borrow should you wish to goout for the day.

The apartment is serviced by underfloor heating and is allelectric providing instant hot water. It has a fully compliant wired-in firealarm. There is a first aid kit, fire blanket and extinguisher in the storeroom,with additional extinguishers & automatic smoke-vents on each floor of thehall’s corridors.

There is allocated parking for the apartment, plus a visitors’car park that you are free to use.

Silverdale village centre has a late-night store providingall your essential groceries, a butcher’s, pharmacy, post office, café &Indian restaurant/takeaway, as well as other eating and drinking establishments.

Hazelwood Hideaway offers peaceful seclusion in abeautiful location. It’s a perfect base from which to explore North Lancashire,the Yorkshire Dales and the wider Lake District.

 Surrounded byNational Trust land, it’s a haven for those who enjoy nature and the greatoutdoors. For bird watchers, RSPB Leighton Moss is a short walk away, as isSilverdale Golf club and the local train station.

Please note that the apartment is situated on the first floor and which can only be accessed by steps up to the main entrance and a further set of internal stairs to the first floor.
