The Troubador is a local live music venue with lots of character (Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Adele and Ed Sheeran all played there before they were famous).

For high-end dining, do Mien Jiang in High Street Kensington (incredible views) and Elystan Street in South Kensington, a bit cheaper but excellent is Rabbit in Chelsea.
