The Sellers View...

After six years I’m relocating to the Midlands, which means I have to leave my house that I’ve upgraded over the six years that I’ve been here. Moorhen Drive is quiet, safe and friendly, and I’ve loved living here. I particularly like the fact that the house doesn’t front onto the road, so it’s peaceful, and there isn’t a constant stream of traffic or people past the window. With two allocated parking spaces directly outside the gate that leads up to my garden it’s very convenient to come and go with shopping, etc.

The house is very light and the (very low-maintenance) garden is south-westerly facing so gets loads of sun. The decking area will have the sun on it from 11am until sunset, and the patio area will provide some welcome shade if you prefer to take advantage of the outdoor space without direct sunlight.

There is a fantastic network of walkways around the whole area, which means that it’s a four minute walk to the bus stop for the 21 into Reading, and a maximum 10 minute walk to Asda, M&S Food, Loddon Valley Leisure Centre, and Maiden Place complex. Transport links are fantastic, with easy access to the M4, A33 and A329. Also some lovely areas to walk within striking distance, particularly Dinton Pastures and Deardon Fields.

This really is a superb example of a two bedroom home. The finish throughout is great. Two good bedrooms with the added bonus of an en suite. The media centre in the lounge is ideal for entertaining and the new kitchen across the back of the home opening up on to the perfect garden! Couple this with rear access and two parking spaces, this home has it all.

The Area View....

Moorhen Drive is set in Lower Earley. This is such a fantastic location for families, let us tell you why.... you have two buses, 21 and 19b of which take you all around the local area, and even more importantly to the local schools. Radstock primary is within easy reach, such a desirable school to be near. You have Maiden Place shops, as well as Chalfont shops and ASDA within walking distance. The M4 and access to London is also very convenient.
