Barn 1

Externally, the roof cladding will be upgraded to zinc cladding, the wall cladding will be replaced with vertical timber cladding, metal cladding and natural stone. The windows and doors will be powder coated aluminium.

Barn 2

The proposed conversion will utilise the main section of the building and the lean-to on the southern elevation will be utilised to create a covered terrace and parking area. Internally the conversion will comprise five bedrooms (three en-suite), a family bathroom, kitchen/living/dining room, games room, snug, office, hall, utility, a covered terrace and patio and a garage. The centre of the building will be a covered courtyard area with a roof light and a hall surrounding it. Externally, the roof covering will be upgraded to zinc and the wall cladding will be upgraded to natural stone, timber cladding and metal cladding. The windows and doors will be powder coated aluminium.

Both barns will have roof mounted solar panels installed on the southern elevation, and each dwelling will have an electric vehicle charging point and an air source heat pump.

MORELEIGH

Place Barton Barns is situated in the sought after village of Moreleigh which is about 6 miles to the south of Totnes and 7 miles to the north of Kingsbridge with Dartmouth approximately 7 miles to the east. The A38 Devon expressway can be reached within about 15 minutes with access to both Plymouth and Exeter. Moreleigh village has a friendly village community with sports and social events and the popular New Inn renowned for its good food and friendly atmosphere. There are excellent shopping and recreational facilities in the towns of Totnes, Kingsbridge and Dartmouth and there is a main line railway station in Totnes with access to London in about 31⁄2 hours.
