Sellers Views - We moved into this house as a young couple, with the dream of one day raising a family here. Having linear park on your doorstep that takes you to the Kennet we could cycle to Reading town centre or Newbury, all via the canal and there are many nice pubs on this route which was great. Play parks and green space for picnics and plenty of ducks to feed seemed an ideal area to bring up my family. With a regular bus route into town and Sainsburys a short distance away it seemed the perfect place to set up home. 20 years and three children later, I can say many memories have been made here. This house has hosted a lot of birthday parties, family Christmas’ and play dates but as my children are now teenagers we have outgrown the house and the time to move has arrived. I hope the new owners of this house build as many cherished memories as we have. As much as I welcome this new chapter there will be a bit of sadness when I hand over those keys and leave for the last time

Area Views – Ashmere Close is located off Pollards Way in Calcot within a quiet cul-de sac setting. It provides easy access to transport links including the 26 Bus Route into Reading Town Centre, and J12 of the M4. The property is surrounded by parks and play areas, including Linear Park and Calcot Rec. There are great local schools within walking distance from the property, including Kennet Valley Primary, Southcote Primary and The Kings Academy.

Lauren and Ryan’s Views – This home has so much potential. It’s a great family property, in a brilliant location and is ready for someone to put their stamp on. This is a truly well-loved family home which has served the current owners well for the past 20 years. This home is fantastic for growing families as there are so many options for expansion (STPP). Our highlight of the property has to be the beautifully landscaped rear garden.
