"Having lived at Marlow Court for close to a decade, it has been a pleasure to see Deptford flourish and I've felt so close to central London.

Having traded at Greenwich Market for a time, and briefly opening a shop in Deptford Market, I've been fortunate enough to be part of a creative community of independent businesses that ensure there is always something interesting to see or do locally - and with an increasing collection of galleries, bars and restaurants setting up their off-shoots in Deptford, there's a choice of locally run, well-intentioned businesses on the doorstep, and Deptford's famous market on Saturdays.

When family and friends come to visit, it's easy to get to and perfect for river walks and exploring Greenwich's museums and parks.

Marlow Court itself is a lovely petite block of residences (24 apartments) and with only 5 levels, it feels homely and the shared roof garden (with views of Canary Wharf and the City of London) is a real gift on long balmy evenings.

It's been nice to have a utility cupboard, so the washing machine doesn't need to be in the kitchen and living space - and the balcony doors in the lounge means you can have a lovely breeze through the place in summer. If I wasn't looking to find a live/work space, I'd be staying put!

The apartment itself, I'll be sad to leave. With two spacious double bedrooms and a large living area with a lot of light, it feels spacious and the large L-shaped corridor makes for a grand entrance."
