Uplands Farm Barns consists of a series of listed properties which were converted approximately 7 years ago by Ashford Homes, a highly reputable development company within the local area.

The property known as Link Barn, is so called due to the most attractive garden room which links the older properties together. A particular feature of this stunning property is the living room/kitchen, which comprises a large room with high Apex ceiling with roof-light windows and an aspect of three sides.

In addition, there is a most attractive garden/sitting room which has large sliding glazed doors leading out to the main garden and from which the property has attractive views.

A wonderful, vaulted entrance hall with oak staircase leads to the second bedroom with en-suite shower room.

The bathrooms and shower rooms are fitted to a high standard, with Villeroy & Boch sanitary ware, together with Hansgrohe fitments throughout. All of the bedrooms are of a generous size.

The whole property has a light and airy feel and has been cleverly and sympathetically modernised combining the character of the original barns but with all the benefits of a modern home.

The gardens to side and to the rear are of a good size and the whole property is immaculately presented throughout. It also has the benefit of a double carport to the front and additional parking to the rear. It is set within a gated community which is very well maintained by the residents.

This is a stunning and exceptionally appointed property and is in a superb location for both the cities of Bath and Bristol. A viewing is strongly recommended by the sole agents, Cobb Farr.

Link Barn is set on the edge of the small village of Burnett, part of the parish of Compton Dando. It is located approximately 5 miles west of the World Heritage city of Bath and 5 miles from the cosmopolitan city of Bristol.

Link Barn is set on the site of former farm buildings which are bordered by open farmland. Burnett appeared in the Doomsday Book of 1086 and is mainly centred around two working farms together with a Church, Manor House and Village School.

The UNESCO World Heritage City of Bath is a 15 minute drive away and offers a wonderful array of chain and independent retail outlets, many fine restaurants, cafes and wine bars along with a number of well-respected cultural activities which include a world famous music and literary festival, many pre-London shows at the Theatre Royal and the attractions at The Roman Baths and Pump Rooms.

World class sporting facilities are available at Bath University and Bath Rugby and Cricket Clubs. There is also a good local rowing club in Saltford.

The nearest town is Keynsham which lies approximately 2 miles north of the village and provides a whole host of amenities, together with the nearest schools which include a number of primary schools and two secondary schools, one of which is the highly rated Wellsway School. Both Bath and Bristol offer an excellent selection of schools, in particular within Bath, King Edwards, Kingswood and The Royal High.

The property is ideally located for commuting, with Bath and Bristol both having mainline railway stations at Bath Spa, Temple Meads and Bristol Parkway all giving direct access to London Paddington, Swindon and South Wales and Keynsham station provides a direct link to all these stations. The M4 Motorway, Junction 18 is 12 miles away and Bristol Airport is 16 miles to the west.

Taking advantage of the beautiful surroundings around Uplands Farm, the location provides a vast assortment of countryside pursuits to enjoy: delightful walks along the River Chew; nearby Blagdon Lake provides sailing and has other water sport facilities; Saltford boasts a Golf Club, a Rowing Club, together with a Marina. Excellent sporting and leisure facilities are also close by at Babington House, Combe Grove Manor and Bath University.
