Situation The village of Edgton is a quaint rural hamlet of immense character. Cottages and country lanes are nestled amongst the peaceful Shropshire countryside. Surrounded by green fields and unspoilt scenery, the village comprises farms, cottages and agricultural undertakings. The Parish Church of St Michael is believed to date back to the 13th Century. Edgton has a village hall. The area enjoys a beautiful backdrop as part of the designated Shropshire Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). It remains accessible with good connections to the nearby market towns of Craven Arms (6 miles), Bishops Castle (6 miles) and Clun (9 miles).
