Dating from the 17th Century and Grade II Listed, Oasby House is positioned discreetly within the conservation area of the popular Lincolnshire village of Oasby and is constructed of limestone with a pantile roof. The house sits gable end onto the road and is approached via double wooden gates which open onto a private gravelled
courtyard. Extensively renovated over the last decade the house represents a charming juxtaposition of both period and contemporary living.
Entered from the enclosed courtyard by what is essentially the back door, there is an inner hall with a large childrens' playroom to the right and breakfast kitchen straight ahead. To the left is a library with fitted bookcases and cupboards throughout, a cloakroom, the utility room and then the staircase hall with doors to a drawing room, conservatory and front hall fitted with wine storage. The main staircase leads to a galleried landing and then on to the principal bedroom on the south-west side of the house. This room benefits from views over the gardens as well as receiving morning sun. Within the principal bedroom there bi-fold doors which open onto a
dressing area and extensive fitted cupboards. Accessed from the main landing there is a shower room and a dressing room with fitted cupboards throughout. There are five further bedrooms and two bathrooms with a second staircase leading down to the childrens' playroom on the ground floor.
On the north-east side of the courtyard there is a barn in which a large double height home office has been created with stairs leading to a second office above. Leading from the main office
on the ground floor there is a WC, a kitchenette and gym beyond. This building runs on an independent heating system and would make an ideal annex.

Sharing a parish with Aisby and Heydor, Oasby is a popular village giving quick and easy access into Grantham, some 7 miles to the west from which the journey to London King Cross takes from 68 minutes. The village contains a number of good
sized stone houses and is surrounded by striking countryside. Within the village, the Houblon Inn is well known for good food and nearby Grantham offers a comprehensive range of shops and amenities as well as good schooling.

The mature garden, which is west facing, has been extensively planted and includes a range of mature trees. There is a terrace adjacent to the conservatory which makes an idyllic dining area, and two further terraces one in the walled
corner and another just past the row of mature hollies.
