The Lindens is an attractive Grade II Listed early 18th Century farmhouse with an early 16th Century core. Built of red brick elevations under pantile roof, the property is mentioned in Pevsner’s The Buildings of England as ?remarkable for having evidence of a lobby-entrance plan, yet the date must be C16. Part timber frame and part brick, it was encased and extended early in the C18. The older stack has diamond shafts’.
