Mearan is located in the Hamlet of Pubil at the western most end of beautiful Glenlyon. Glenlyon has a reputation as being one of the most stunning glens in Scotland and has the added advantage, of being accessible to Scotland’s central belt.

The house allows one to explore and enjoy the beauty of Glenlyon and its surrounding hills including some 20 Munro’s with the hills behind giving views to nearby Rannoch Moor, Glencoe and Ben Nevis in the distance. Fishing for trout and salmon is available on both the River Lyon as well as a nearby loch. For the wildlife enthusiast there are a great variety of birds including, buzzard, sparrow hawks, wagtails, oystercatchers, plovers, meadow pipets, eagles, woodcocks, housemartins and red deer.
