Just driving to this gem of a home made me relax. No passing traffic, birdsong and woodland all around, easy parking from the word go although there is a designated parking space outside Coachman's Cottage and plenty of parking on the wide, quiet road for visitors. The woodland opposite is protected so no building allowed there.

Built in the 1900's and extended in the 1980's it is adorable. A little slice of heaven, tucked away in West Malvern, far from the Madding Crowd and yet within walking distance of The Brewers's Arms, a little community run pub with stupendous views.

The house gives you a hug as you walk in, cute oak fitted kitchen, Smeg cooker, induction hob and white Belfast sink, with breakfast bar, a cosy sitting room that fits two large double sofas and has dual aspect windows and up to two bedrooms, one double with woodland views and one single and then the bathroom. The cottage has recently been repainted white in the sitting room which makes it look brighter.

It really is an ideal bolthole for one person or a couple, would make a perfect first home or perfect holiday cottage or Airbnb and is cat and dog safe and friendly due to the quiet road.

The garden has been well designed and provides a sweet area to sit and relax. Yes next door have access past your front door but often houses have this scenario and I have lived in one and it never bothered me. The neighbour I am reliably informed is lovely and enjoys peace and tranquility too.

Coachman's was for years run as a holiday cottage and would be just perfect as that or for someone wanting a little house in the Malvern Hills. Really do escape to the country and leave all the busy roads far behind!

If you don't want a big expensive draughty home then this adorable cottage is perfect for you. If you have the money there is planning permission to add a large balcony should you wish to.

Coachman's Cottage has a Worcester gas boiler located in the kitchen, radiators in each room and is double glazed throughout to keep you toasty. The house enjoys all mains services and is inexpensive to run.

The location couldn't be more perfect, quiet and tranquil and off the beaten traffic. The only people to pass would be walkers, dog walkers, cyclists or people who live in the immediate location. Above the house is Westwood Lodge which used to own this property.

Coachman's Cottage is located in West Malvern, beautifully situated on the western slopes of the Malvern Hills and a 7 minute drive to Colwall village centre, which has a vibrant community, well-served with amenities including a main-line train station, village store, post office, cafe, doctor's surgery and cricket ground.

Within walking distance to the Brewers Arms, an old, well-established, dog-friendly community-run pub and the nearby Wyche Inn and Chase Inn - all with lovely views, a welcoming atmosphere and excellent real ale and food.

The highly desirable area around the cottage has immediate access to the Malvern Hills and its numerous paths for walkers, runners and cyclists alike.

Great Malvern is 8 minutes by car, just 2.5 miles and is a safe and beautiful town steeped in cultural history celebrated by various art, music and literary festivals and the renowned Malvern Theatres and cinema.

You will find independent boutiques, restaurants, pubs, cafes and conveniently a range of supermarkets including Waitrose and M & S.

Some of the finest independent primary and secondary schools are located in Colwall and Malvern including The Elms, The Downs, Malvern College, Malvern St. James, Colwall C of E Primary, Wyche Primary, and The Chase High School.

The ever-popular Three Counties Showground offers a variety of events including food, gardening and agriculture throughout the year.

Excellent transport links by road and rail: Colwall and Great Malvern train stations a short drive away (with free parking) having direct links to Worcester (10 minutes), Hereford (25 minutes), Birmingham (1 hour) and London Paddington (2 hours 15 minutes), with the M50 and M5 Junction 7 a short drive away providing easy access to Gloucester, Cheltenham, Stratford-Upon-Avon, Broadway, Bristol, Cardiff and Birmingham.

A 2-hour bus service (675/676) with a stop one minute away offers return journeys to Great Malvern (15 minutes) or Ledbury (25 minutes) where one can enjoy boutique shops, cafes and restaurants.
