The Sellers View...
Finchwood Park is a lovely place to live, with a real community feel. We are very fortunate that we have the M4 on one side and the M3 on the other, both within very easy reach, so great for travelling. Trains from Wokingham and Reading are also very good. We also have a bus stop at the end of our path, with buses going to nearby Shinfield, Wokingham and to Reading, so great public transport.

We have lots of nice walks around the area and a two minute drive from the gorgeous California County Park as well. There are a few shops in Finchampstead itself, as well as a good Indian and Chinese takeaway.

We love our house very much and am extremely sad to be moving, but need to be closer to my daughter and granddaughter. We really wish that we could pick it up and move it nearer to them. The room I like best, is the lounge with the bi-fold doors, sky lights and very tall ceilings. It is so light and airy and that was a huge appeal to me.

We are also very fortunate to have two en-suites and a family bathroom, as this helps to cater when we have our families or friends come and stay. There is a new outdoor gym area directly outside the front, so there is no excuse for not keeping fit.

We added some extras to the house when we moved in, such as an additional cupboard in the kitchen, extra patio slabs in the garden and a few more additions which have definitely complemented the house. We have a Hive heating system which has been great and lovely that you can boost your hot water or heating if you are on your way home and you can set it to come on from your phone.
