Owners Comments...
Looking back over our 14 years at Teal Grove, a lot of things have changed. We moved in as a family of four and moved out as a family of five. Over the years we have made number 10 our perfect home and as our family grew so did the house. We extended our kitchen/dinner/family area to have a proper family space, added utility at back of the garage.
Also gained two more rooms and bathroom after a loft conversation. It was just perfect for our twin teenagers.

Although the interior of the house has seen many changes over the last 14 years, the one thing that hasn’t changed is the amazing community feel within the close. All the neighbours are friendly and caring. Whether you need a pot of sugar for your tea or someone to feed your pets whilst you’re away. You’re spoilt for choice of friendly neighbours!

On top of this, the 10 Teal Grove has a great location, it’s very quiet and has a very private feel to it. This home is in catchment of Reading Boys and Kendrick School and great private/state schools.

Area Comments...

Teal Grove is so nicely positioned, just a small cul-de-sac of mostly detached properties, with this home being set nicely at the end. You have a small cut through that will take you out to all your wants and need though so you are really well connected from here too.

Shinfield itself is a very popular location, very central to everything with plenty of local green space. Just a few minutes walk you will find the popular Langley Mead nature reserve, which is great for walks and you also have various play parks and further green space close by. Within a short walk or drive you have plenty of amenities including Dobbies Garden Centre which now has a small Waitrose, along with a great butchers in there. Then within Shinfield Village, you have Co-Op, post office, and a few popular pubs including The Shinfield Arms not too far from here, which we also enjoy from time to time. You have the new addition of Alder Grove primary school within Shinfield Meadows, along with plenty of other schools in the area, again making this a great location for growing families.

There are main bus routes close by taking you into Reading or Wokingham towns and you are just a few minutes from Mereoak Park and Ride or junction 11 of the M4, or Green Park business district which now has the new addition of the train station, giving you great connections into Reading and onto London from here.

Dan & Neil's Comments...

Not only is this a gorgeous looking home from the outside, but it offers an awesome amount of living space and a fantastic layout too, thanks to the extension by the current owners.

You are welcomed by a spacious entrance hallway, with storage and downstairs w.c, to one side of the home you have a cozy lounge and to the other rear, you have a huge kitchen/dining/living room spanning with an island and bi-fold doors opening right into the garden. It's the perfect space for day to day family living, as well as entertaining all year round.

The first floor has 3 double bedrooms, including a large main bedroom suite with dressing area and en-suite as well, a family bathroom & an office. The second floor has two further bedrooms, a bathroom and access to a vast amount of storage in the eaves.

On top of all this, there are no onward chain complications with this one and we're sure this will be just as popular as the last one to sell so do be quick to arrange a viewing.
