The Sellers View

We moved to Tadley over 5 years ago with our toddler and we have loved exploring and getting to know this lovely area since then. We are now a family of 5 and have a dog, so a lot has changed! We spend a lot of time at Tadley common and Pamber Heath forest with the kids and dog, which we absolutely love. There’s loads to do here, especially for families/kids, with good parks, the library and local community centre for baby/toddler classes. There’s also the swimming pool down the road, which is great. We’re in a really good location and can walk to pretty much everything we need – shops, GP surgery, dentist, school and nursery.

Our road is nice and quiet as there is no through-traffic and our neighbours are all really friendly. I’d say my favourite bits of this house is the open plan living/dining room, with the patio doors open, seeing out into the sun-trap of a garden we have! My other favourite is our stable door in the kitchen, as I can watch the kids play in the garden whilst I’m cooking. We will genuinely be really sad to leave this house, and the main reasons we’re moving is for a bigger home and to be closer to work. Life is busy and less of a commute will help our family life! I hope the next owners enjoy making it their own family home, as it has been a wonderful family home for us.

The Agents View

What a great family home! It's so close to so many amenities whilst being tucked away and the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. As you first walk through the front door, you are met by the porch which has got plenty of space to store coats and shoes. The open plan reception space is a great size and you can comfortably have plenty of living room furniture and a decent size dining table with chairs. The kitchen has a lovely modern feel about it and I love the stable door that leads from this room into the garden.

Upstairs you have a great size master bedroom, a decent size second double and a generous single room for this style of property. All three bedrooms have a built wardrobe. The modern family bathroom boasts a white three piece suite with shower over bath.

To the front of the property you have a driveway which can accommodate two cars, plus you can get a third car parked on the slate chipping area to the side as well. There is an up and over door leading into the garage, which has power and light.

The southwest facing garden gets lots of sun from late morning in the summer. Its really low maintenance and as its made up of three tiers, you can make these separate spaces work exactly as you want them to. There is also a door from the garden into the back of the garage.

The Area View

Wickham Close is found just behind Kings DIY on Mulfords Hill in Tadley. As its located in the heart of Tadley, there are plenty of amenities nearby! Sainsburys is a mere 10 minute walk away and also benefits from a Starbucks and family run pets store on site. If you prefer shopping at Lidl, it will only take you 14 minutes to walk there. Pubs, cafes and food outlets aren't hard to get to either. If you're new to the area, I would highly recommend Gourmet Queens cafe in Baughurst and The Pelican pub in Pamber Heath, the Thai food there is fantastic.

If commuting is your thing, its worth knowing Tadley is bang in the middle of the M3/M4 corridor. Junction 11 of the M4 is about 10 miles away and junction 6 of the M3 is 9 miles away. So it roughly takes 20 minutes to reach each of them. Your nearest train stations are either Bramley or Aldermaston and both are roughly a 14 minute drive from this property.

If you have younger children, Bishopswood Infant & Junior Schools are the closest to this property, but you can easily get to Burnham Copse Primary and Tadley Community Primary Schools. Tadley's main secondary school "The Hurst" is just under 2 miles away and If you have really young kids, there are plenty of independently run nursery schools nearby too.
