The Sellers View
We have lived in this property for 32 years during this time we have upgraded several of its features and restructured the garden. We've really enjoyed our time here.

It enjoys a very sunny position with the sun rising at one side of the house and as the morning goes on it floods the front garden which has a generous lawn plenty of flower beds and is not overlooked from any perspective. At midday when the sun rises higher in the sky it goes round to the other side of the house flooding the generous back lawn and flower beds with glorious sunshine. At the very top of the garden is a patio where we have a picnic table chairs and a swing hammock and is bathed in sunshine.

There are numerous outbuildings which can be used for all kind of things you could set up your own gym in them, they are big enough. At the top of the garden is my husbands man cave where he stores all his tools and carries out any projects he's doing. It has a TV in there for him to keep up to date with things. There is our own back drive leading up to this which is very useful for extra parking or taking things into the garden.

Its time for us to downsize now, but we really hope a new family will love our home as much as we have.

The Agents View
This bungalow has been well maintained by the current owners but it gives you lots of potential to put your own stamp on it.

As you enter the driveway you're met by a well maintained and established front garden, a large shingle driveway which can accommodate 3/4 cars and a potting shed. There are a couple of ways to enter this home, though I tend to use the double doors which lead you into the open plan reception space. The faux ceiling beams and brick built fireplace give a warm and welcoming "cottagey" feel as you enter this home. The fireplace is currently occupied by an electric fire, but the flu is in place should you wish to upgrade this to a log burner.

An open doorway from the dining area of the reception space leads you into the kitchen. It is compact, but provides plenty of cupboard and work surface space giving you plenty of room to cook your favourite meals. The kitchen leads to a small internal hallway, which gives access to the lean to, bathroom and airing cupboard.

The bathroom offers a four piece suite which comprises bath, separate shower, toilet and sink. Plus a frosted window looking into the rear garden. The lean to has had additional cupboards placed into it, extending the kitchen in a way and this area houses the fridge/freezer and washing machine too. It could also be used as an entrance into the home, and could be kitted out to give you a "boot room" type of space.

The three double bedrooms are located on the other side of the house. Cleverly, there is a WC located between the bedrooms, so you don't have to walk through to the other side of the house should nature call in the night. If like the current owners you don't need three bedrooms, you could use one of them as an office or den, as they have.

I LOVE the rear garden of this property! Its a really good size and its been extremely well cared for. The current owners have spent a lot of time out here and I am assured that when the flowers and plants come out in the spring, it is full of life and colour. The multitude of sheds and outbuildings really don't impact the feeling of space either.

The first outbuilding is of a wooden construction and houses three connected workshops. Next we have a brick built building, which was used by the owners as kennels when they used to breed and race Greyhounds. The kennels have its own outdoor kitchen and a door which opens up into a concrete "paddock", which is securely fenced in. The last outbuilding, which again is of brick a built construction, has been used as the current owner as a "man cave". All of these outbuildings have power and light. You could do so much which these buildings. Work from home? You could easily convert them into offices, a gym, music room or whatever you want. You are only limited by your imagination! There is also a typical garden shed and lots of other storage areas to boot.

So you've read this far and your thinking, what about the development potential Ollie? Well, let me tell you all about it! At the end of the garden where the "man cave" outbuilding sits, there is a large hard standing which is accessed by its own driveway. You could remove the man cave and hard standing and build an annexe or separate dwelling (subject to planning permission). If you had a family member you wanted to build an annexe for, you can have them on site, but they can still feel like they have their own independence as they can come and go as they please. However, if development isn't of interest to you, you could use the hard standing as extra parking when you have friends and family over for barbecues in the summer.

Now to be completely honest, the M4 isn't far away from this property! It can be heard from the garden, but you wouldn't know its there when your inside due to the double glazed windows. The owners have lived in this property for 32 years and for them, it hasn't been a problem. Its also worth noting that due to the rural setting, there is oil heating supplied by a tank in the garden, and it is not on mains sewage.
