The Sellers View...

I moved to Clare Road in 2006 with my son. I decided on Clare Road particularly as it was close to the school that my son had joined the year before.
My son, then had the choice to walk or cycle to school rather than getting the bus from where we used to live.
It was more convenient for us both, we have loved it here, as it is only a 10 minute walk into the town centre and to the train station, where the recent Elizabeth Line has opened to get into many areas of London.
It Is also a 5 minute drive to the M4 and easy access to the M40 too.
You also have the option of a Two minute walk to the nearest Bus stop, to be able to get into the Town centre or to the Train station.
A short drive away or by Train/Bus, there is also Windsor, Marlow and Cookham which also have some lovely country pubs, as well as Maidenhead itself.
There are a variety of great parks and woodland walks nearby, which my son loved as a child and continued to enjoy as he got older when he purchased an offroad bicycle.
We have spent many great times in our garden, having Barbeques in the Summer months, watching our 2 cats getting up to mischief in the trees behind the house, planting flowers and enjoying seeing them bloom year after year.
A few years ago we added a summer house now being used as a gym, and a Hot tub!!
I have made several improvements on the property since I have been here, for example, floorboarding the loft, levelling the back garden, adding Astroturf to the front garden, Installed a new bathroom and downstairs cloakroom/WC.
My son has now flown the nest and has a family of his own, so I have come to the decision, it is now time for me to downsize.
