Having lived at Somersby Crescent for almost thirty years (twenty years at number 46 and ten years in the house opposite) we look back on our time here with fondness and very happy memories. Living at Somersby we’ve been fortunate to have had great neighbours, some of whom have become very dear friends.

Somersby Crescent is a safe environment with so many amenities close by. Local shops, Post Office, Petrol Station and two pubs are all within walking distance.

Ockwells Park which is just a five minute walk from Somersby is a lovely place to visit, with a Cafe, children’s play area and a nature trail around the park.

Maidenhead train station which is just five minutes by car has a main line into Paddington and Crossrail into London.

Places of interest nearby include Windsor Castle, Norden Farm Arts Centre, Clivedon House National Trust and Legoland to name just a few.

Maidenhead is located just fifteen miles from Heathrow. There are good local doctors surgeries and dentists all nearby.

Now that we've both retired and have a different lifestyle we decided to move to the South Coast. We will however always remember Maidenhead fondly and no doubt will return from time to time.

We hope that this home brings as much happiness to the new owners as it has for us.
