We moved to Compton Drive 10 years ago as we loved the location in Pickneys Green and the house is situated in a very quiet road, in fact it has proved to be the quietest place we have ever lived.

The house is perfect for what we wanted with plenty of space and several rooms all of which we have adapted and modernised to our needs and progressed to making our house a home. We have enjoyed several gatherings here with our 3 x children and 6 x grandchildren. There are also wonderful areas of green fields and woodland where we can take our family and pet dog Jack for some wonderful walks.

Our house also included an amazing 24ft x 12ft swimming pool from which we have had lots of fun and relaxation with our family. Two of our grandchildren have learnt how to swim in this pool and it has also been very useful for us all to cool down during heat waves.

We have the convenience of local shops and Budgens Supermarket within walking distance and the M4 is quickly accessible from our property.

The neighbours are all friendly and we have our own private drive. There is also extensive street parking in our road, should visitors have the need to park. Everyone keeps an eye out for each other and you only come into our road if you are a resident, or visiting someone, so we have always felt very secure.

We are very sad to be leaving our home, but due to our advancing years, now feel it is the time to move on to a smaller property and to be closer to our daughters and grandchildren.

We want this lovely house to go to a happy owner who we are sure shall enjoy it.
