I moved into Barn drive when my oldest was born 27 years ago. After 6 years, I liked the road so much, I moved right opposite to where my Wife and I live today. Child number Four is now in his teens and the other three have either left home or about to, so it's time to downsize and let another family enjoy this wonderful house.
You will find the people in the road are the best anyone could hope for. Everyone looks out for one another and are a very friendly bunch. It is safe enough that kids can play in the road, and there is always someone to lend a hand if you need it. To be honest, if we could take them with us, we would.
Barn Drive is a fantastic location, it's safe, quiet and being a cul-de-sac does not have strangers walking past. It great for access to both the M4 and M40 motorways and public transport makes getting into London a breeze.
You have a choice of four Pubs within walking distance, the closest being the Thatch cottage. Shops are just a 5-minute walk away and if you have a Dog or just like walking, then access to the National Trust land is right on our doorstep.
