We have lived at St Helier Close for 16 very happy years. We knew it was something special when we first saw it, particularly the front eyebrow window which gives it a lot of character and the oak beams around the porch. To tailor the house to our needs we have extended and completely refurbished the house to what we think is a very high standard. The bifold doors to the Dining room and Garden room have been a great addition and really open up the space. The loft conversion completed in 2015 with its double length windows is flooded with light, it has exceeded our expectations and is a joy to use. The garden is South facing and as it is not overlooked all you can virtually see is the trees, the wildlife and the sky. There are only 10 houses in St Helier Close, all are kept to a great standard. Wokingham Town Centre and Train Station are a short walk away. If you want somewhere to walk the dog , you are just 10 min walk down to Luckley Wood and you are out into the countryside – we have had many peaceful walks down there. Since moving here we have never lost the thrill of driving into St Helier Close and pulling into our drive. It truly is a beautiful house with many happy family memories. Now that we are retired its time for another family to enjoy its great potential.

St Helier Close is the perfect family home with superb living space set over three floors and offering over 2500 square foot of accomodation plus a double garage. Situated on a quiet no-through road to the south of Wokingham just one mile away from the town centre and train station with great schools nearby. The garden is not only meticulous but also south-facing and extremely private and the in and out driveway is a convenient parking solution for a house of this size. Internally the current owners have made excellent additions including the loft conversion in 2015 to create the beautiful primary suite, Bosch appliances recently fitted in the kitchen, and many other maintainace jobs have been completed for the peace of mind of the next owner. A truly beautiful family home ready for you to view!
