Bishop’s Castle is a beautiful and dynamic market town in South Shropshire between the medieval market town of Ludlow and the county town of Shrewsbury. It is surrounded by some of the most spectacular scenery in the country. The consent is based on designs by Border Oak. However, our clients will permit amendments and consider alternative builders, providing any changes meet Planning requirements and remain sympathetic to the rest of the Wintles. Being a part of The Wintles, each new home will pay the service charge, currently £55 per month, which goes towards the maintenance of the shared garden areas, estate footpaths and about 11 acres of open meadows and woodland, linking to The Shropshire Way. Residents are entitled to an allotment and may wish to join one or more of the various well-established activity groups keeping chickens and piglets (summer months only), growing vegetables in a polytunnel, growing vines to produce ‘Wintles Wine’, and looking after an orchard for fruit including apples with the excess used for juice and cider. A ‘Motte’ on The Wintles hillside commands excellent views and is often used as a venue for residents’ social activities.
