Homeonwner`s View
We bought this home in 2004 when my father retired. Its prime location near essential amenities such as a bus stop, shops, parks, a doctor`s surgery, and Tilehurst railway station, along with convenient driveway parking, made it an ideal choice. When my mother wanted a larger kitchen, we obtained permission to extend the house into the garden, improving both its functionality and appearance. The garden, complete with a patio area, was a source of pride for my parents during the summer months. They enjoyed spending time outdoors, cultivating fruits and vegetables and basking in the sunshine.
Alex`s View
This mid-terrace property on Thirlmere Avenue boasts three bedrooms ? two spacious doubles and one cosy single. The house has been extended, featuring a spacious kitchen at the rear and an additional bathroom downstairs, comprising of a shower room and a cloakroom for added practicality and convenience for busy households. Upstairs, you`ll find a modern shower room complete with basin and toilet. The property offers a driveway parking space and is conveniently located near the Purple 17 bus route, providing easy access to Reading Town Centre. Tilehurst train station is just an 18-minute walk away too. Also, I loved the nearby green spaces which are perfect for relaxation and recreation. This property is perfect for families with its open-plan kitchen/diner ideal for hosting gatherings or simply enjoying daily meals with loved ones.
We look forward to meeting you.
