Description

Located on the edge of the ever-popular village of Sparkwell, Coachman's Cottage is a beautiful attached period cottage with extensive accommodation which could be configured to suit any number of lifestyles. Boasting a wealth of period features and lovingly maintained to retain its character, the cottage enjoys well-proportioned rooms including ground floor bedroom accommodation ideal for use as a separate suite. An internal inspection of this truly lovely home comes highly recommended.

Situation

Sparkwell is a thriving village situated near the south-west edge of Dartmoor National Park and about ten miles from Plymouth city centre. There is a village primary school and nursery school, with secondary schooling at Ivybridge Community College, rated Good, for which transport is provided. Dartmoor Zoo, the subject of the film We Bought A Zoo starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, is located at the edge of the village whilst Wellbeck Manor provides a village nine-hole golf course. A range of shops, banks, schools, a swimming pool and a library are in the suburb of Plympton, some three miles away and the beautiful South Devon coastline with its beaches and sailing are within easy reach. The historic waterfront city of Plymouth is well provided with department stores, colleges, grammar and public schools, a modern university, the Peninsular Medical School, Theatre Royal and cinemas, large department stores, cafés, bistros and restaurants. The leisure facilities are outstanding with superb watersports in and around Plymouth Sound and the Plymouth Life Centre.
