The market town of Appleby-in-Westmorland is located in the Eden Valley of the beautiful county of Cumbria. Appleby is the highest town in England and has the picturesque River Eden running through its centre. The town is full of Georgian and Victorian architecture and is steeped in history, with its cobbled streets, castle ruins and old churches.
