Shap, Penrith, Cumbria

Shap is a rural village situated in the Penrith area of Cumbria, within the Lake District National Park. It is surrounded by the rolling hills of the Eden Valley and is well known for its sheep farming heritage. The village has a population of just over 1,350 and is home to a range of amenities including a post office, primary school, pub, bakery and village hall.
