Truro is a city in Cornwall, England and the only city in the county. It is situated on the River Fal and is an important retail centre for the south west of England.

The city is known for its Georgian architecture, cathedral and Royal Cornwall Museum. It is full of character and charm and is home to many independent retailers, restaurants, bars and cafes. The city has a lively arts scene, with a range of galleries, theatres, and music venues.

The best places to live in Truro include the Malpas area, which has some of the best views of the city and is home to many affluent residents. The area around Lemon Street is also popular, with its mix of historic homes and modern buildings, and it's close to the city centre. Further out of town, the villages of Playing Place, Treliske and Chacewater are all popular with families, as they offer a more relaxed, rural lifestyle.
